Roughies Report
Come on out and support the Catasauqua High School Student Council at a Barnes and Noble book fair 6-8 p.m. Thursday May 9, at the Lehigh Valley Mall.
This this isn't just an ordinary book fair. The students organized it in support of CHS teacher Mr. Whitehead, who was diagnosed with cancer over the summer.
The school chorus will perform some musical numbers and participants can make their own bookmark at a craft table.
Anyone who makes a purchase that evening will have their name put into a drawing to win prizes donated by the other clubs at CHS.
All money raised through the event will be donated toward the purchase of Nooks for the CHS library in Mr. Whitehead's honor. Let's all support this worthy event.
