Katherine Marie Ginther, 94, formerly of Catasauqua, died May 5, 2013, in Frederick Mennonite Community, Frederick.

Born in East Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late William and Eve (Bower) Ginther.

She was a registered nurse and worked for many years for the Lankenau Hospital of Philadelphia until she retired as head of the obstetrics department.

She was a former member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.

She is survived by a sister Marilyn and her husband Donald Deibert of Allentown; and four nieces and nephews, Gary, Dale, Kathy and Karen.

She was predeceased by a brother, Bruce.

There will be a calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., both on May 11 at Brubaker Funeral Home Inc., 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua.
