To the Editor:

The Lutheran and Reformed Cemetery Association is committed to preserve and maintain the Lutheran and Reformed and Northwood Cemeteries in Emmaus. The cemeteries are hallowed and sacred ground as the final resting place of hundreds of deceased veterans, firefighters, first responders and other citizens who contributed to the well-being of our community and served our community and nation.

Regrettably, fireworks debris, beer cans, bottles, litter, 20 bagged dog feces collected per week from trash buckets, and especially uncollected dog feces on grave sites continue to dishonor and disrespect the deceased buried at both cemeteries.

Stop desecrating our cemeteries in Emmaus and dishonoring and disrespecting our loved ones and all who have served our community and nation.
