The Catasauqua High School Chorus, Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble will present their Spring Music Concert on May 8, in the CHS auditorium at 7 p.m. Each group will perform a variety of musical numbers for the entertainment of their audience.
Some highlights are the jazz standard "Chameleon" by Herbie Hancock, a vocal medley of songs from the musical "Les Miserables," an a cappella arrangement of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow," a concert band arrangement of 1980s hits and one of big band music of the 1940s.
The concert will end with an arrangement for chorus and band of "God Bless the U.S.A." Come support the CHS music students and enjoy an evening of musical entertainment.

Any CHS student who is considering a career in criminal justice is invited to apply to attend a Forensics Investigator Training Experience program being held at DeSales University from June 17-19. Tickets are now on sale for the " Night in the City of Love" themed Junior-Senior Prom. This year's prom is being held in the Fowler Blast Furnace Room at the Steel Stacks in Bethlehem on Friday evening, May 17. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. and end at 10:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased during lunch periods and after school in Room C226. The cost is $70 per person. Checks should be made payable to the CHS Class of 2014.
