substance

Timothy R. Mutcher, 19, of Pottstown, and a 15-year-old male, no address given, were stopped for an alleged traffic violation at Cedar Crest Boulevard and Little Lehigh Drive, Emmaus borough, 10:35 p.m. April 25. Subsequent investigation revealed Mutcher and a passenger allegedly possessed suspected marijuana, suspected hallucinogenic mushrooms, and associated paraphernalia. Charges are pending.

Theft by unlawful taking

Reported in the 4500 block of North Hedgerow Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 3:15 and 4:45 a.m. April 21, unknown actors used a jack to raise a 2009 Toyota Venza, placed plastic milk cartons under the vehicle and proceeded to remove all four wheels, tires and rims. The actors fled the scene in possession of those items. The estimated value of those items is $1,600. The investigation continues.

Reported by Dynamic Transmission, 4079 Chestnut St., Upper Milford Township, a Pennsylvania State Inspection Station sign was taken from the front entrance of the business sometime between 5 p.m. April 12 and 1:30 p.m. April 14. Taylor Marie Vigil, 22, of Montville, N.J., was charged with felony 3 theft and felony 3 access device fraud. Vigil allegedly was stealing gold and silver jewelry and coins from two residents in the 2100 block of Four Seasons Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, between Nov. 15, 2012 and March 11. Vigil also allegedly used a credit card fraudulently. Vigil was arrested April 17 and transported to Lehigh County Prison for arraignment.

A New Jersey woman reported her Vera Bradley wristlet taken or lost between 10 and 10:30 p.m. April 12 at the WAWA store, 4900 Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township. The yellow and pink wristlet purse contained approximately $30. Anyone with information about this incident or anyone who may have found the property is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.

Reported by Mechanics Plus Service Station in the 4700 block of Colebrook Road, Upper Milford Township, between 3:48 p.m. Jan. 12 and 9:47 a.m. April 11, someone used without permission a Hess Fleet Gas Card, belonging to the business, several times at various Hess Service Stations in Lehigh County. The investigation continues.

Theft from a motor vehicle

An unknown actor took two aluminum air ratchets valued at $400 sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. April 23 from a vehicle at 4839 Raymond Ct., Upper Milford Township. It is believed that the tools were taken from the victim's vehicle while he was at work. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.

Scattering rubbish

Unknown actors dumped four 40 gallon barrels on the side of Scout Road between Rock Road and Geisinger Road in Upper Milford Township between 8 p.m. April 16 and 12:30 p.m. April 17. The barrels were blue plastic and contained fluid. The fluid was determined to be water, automatic transmission fluid, brake fluid, and diesel/ kerosene. Terroristic threats

Robert Haberstumpf, 50, no address given, is charged with recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats, harassment and simple assault after he allegedly threatened someone while wielding a handgun in an incident in the 1900 block of Aster Road in Lower Macungie Township. The incident occurred 12:02 p.m. April 15.

Burglary

Reported at a residence in the 2500 block of Limeport Pike, Lower Milford Township, sometime between 7:10 a.m. and 6:44 p.m. April 11, an unknown actor entered the residence and removed numerous handguns. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.

Reported at a residence in the 1400 block of Limeport Pike, Lower Milford Township, an unknown actor forced open the back door of the unoccupied residence and cut approximately $500 to $1,000 worth of copper piping out of the basement sometime between 6 p.m. April 23 and 5 p.m. April 24. The actor or actors took the copper piping and fled the scene by unknown means. Hit and Run

Pennsylvania State Police at Fogelsville are investigating a hit and run crash at Willow Lane and Sauerkraut Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 8:40 p.m. April 12. A white Chevrolet Corvette briefly stopped before fleeing the scene. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.

Criminal trespass

Reported in the 3000 block of Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, sometime between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. April 18, unknown actors entered the backyard of the residence. No entry was gained to the residence and no items were disturbed.
