If gardening is a favorite activity and if there is a desire to do volunteer work, now is the time to apply to be a Penn State Master Gardener with Penn State Extension in Lehigh and Northampton Counties.
The Penn State Master Gardener program in Lehigh and Northampton Counties will be training a new class of volunteers this fall.
The new training program will begin the week of Aug. 23 and continue 2:30-5:30 p.m. each Wednesday through mid-December.
Classes will be split between the Lehigh and Northampton County Extension offices in Allentown and Nazareth.
An information session will be held 6-9 p.m. May 20 at Seidersville Hall, in the Lower Saucon Township Municipal Complex in Bethlehem.
During this meeting, they will give an overview of the Penn State Extension and the Master Gardener program.
