Macungie's Relay for Life's main spring event will be held 4 p.m. May 3 through 4 p.m. May 4. This year's theme is a carnival, and there will be activities for all ages, including two moon bounces, a balloon-animal clown, a caricature artist, a magician and carnival games. Relay For Life is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to raising funds for American Cancer Society for its cancer education, programs, advocacy and research. New this year is the Deborah Spess 5K Memorial Race Walk, to be held the morning of May 4 as part of the Relay's main 24-hour event. This event includes a 5K race and an 8:30 a.m. walk as well as a 9:15 a.m. Kids' Fun Run. All proceeds go to Relay and the American Cancer Society.
