The American Lung Association in Pennsylvania is now offering coupon books to help fight lung disease. The coupon books, a $60 value, contain coupons from participating Burger King restaurants, independent and minor league baseball and regional amusement attractions.
All proceeds support programs and services of the American Lung Association for the more than 500,000 children with asthma in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Childhood asthma, a serious lung disease that causes difficulty in breathing, is so pervasive it has become a leading cause of school absences.
The coupon books contain five coupons for either value-size french fries or a value-size soft drink redeemable at participating Burger King restaurants now through June. Two tickets to any game of the Erie SeaWolves, Harrisburg Senators, Lancaster Barnstormers, State College Spikes, Washington Wild Things, Wilmington Blue Rocks or York Revolution between April and July, as well as savings on admissions to Hersheypark and ZooAmerica during the regular 2013 season are also included.
"We're delighted that Burger King, affiliated and independent baseball teams, Hersheypark and ZooAmerica are strong supporters of our effort," B. Derek Shaw, development director of the American Lung Association of the Mid-Atlantic Camp Hill office said.
