William F. Mosser III, 83, of Emmaus, died March 27, 2013. He was the husband of Midge (Goodhart) Mosser. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late William F. and Anna (Shankweiler) Mosser.
He was the CEO of Thermoplastic Valves, Inc. He attended Muhlenberg College.
A Christian and active churchman, he was a charter member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus and a former president of the Lutheran Laity Movement.
He had a passion for living and enjoying life, in golfing, boating, camping, skiing, model railroad and fishing, a member and past president of Maskenozha Rod and Gun Club.
He was the inspiration for building Meadow Pool in Emmaus.
His children and grandchildren were his great pleasures.
He is survived by his wife; son, David F. and his wife Jill, of Cary, N.C.; daughter, Mary Jo and her husband Richard Serfass, of Emmaus; grandchildren, Kadie and her husband Eric Smith, Patrick Serfass and his wife Alison, Ashley Mosser, and David and his wife Jennifer; great-granddaughter, Ellie. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles and a sister, Sally Kershner.

A memorial service will be celebrated 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27 in The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus. The Schantz Funeral Home P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
