Letter to the Editor

To the Editor:

With the Republican primary election about a month away, I want my fellow Lower Macungie readers to know that I continue to work incredibly hard to earn their support in my re-election campaign for Lower Macungie Township Commissioner.

After being elected in 2009 as the highest vote getter at the time, I committed to working hard and getting results for our community. As vice-president of the board, I'm proud of my record of protecting taxpayers by adopting responsible budgets, paying down debt, taking action on smart growth, and standing up for our community and the safety of our families. I've also worked tirelessly to deliver on the Republican ideals of fiscal responsibility, limited government, transparency and a fundamental respect for private property rights.

But working hard also means being in touch and accessible. That's exactly why I've personally visited with and called thousands of residents not only during this campaign, but during my tenure as commissioner.

I value the trust and support my fellow Lower Macungie residents have placed in me. I'm also honored to have received the endorsement of several Republican community leaders, including U.S. Congressman Charlie Dent, R-15th, State Representatives Ryan Mackenzie, R-134th, Gary Day, R-187th, Justin Simmons, R-131st, State Senator Bob Mensch and Lehigh County Republican Committee Chair Wayne Woodman.

Please visit my website to learn more about me and my record at www.ConradForCommissioner.com.

I sincerely appreciate your consideration in re-electing me in the Republican primary May 21. It truly is an honor and privilege to serve our community.

Ryan T. Conrad

vice-president

Lower Macungie Board of Commissioners
