Central Catholic High School's Best Friends Forever Club will be assisting DeSales University in their Arc Sprout Film Festival 1 p.m. April 20 in Center Valley.

The festival celebrates the talents of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by showing films made for and about them.

The CCHS BFF Club, which works closely with the students of Mercy Special Learning Center, invites you to attend this film screening on the DeSales University campus. The event is free, but a ticket is needed for attendance.

The CCHS cheerleading team will be holding a free clinic in Rockne Hall 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 22. Any student interested in the cheerleading program is encouraged to attend.

The 2013 Academic Awards Ceremony will take place in Rockne Hall May 1. All students who participated in an academic activity, such as Science Olympiad, debate club, chess club and many others, will be recognized at the ceremony.

The event will begin 10:30 a.m. immediately following Marian Devotions, scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

All friends and family are welcome to attend the event and enjoy a small reception after the ceremony in Masson Auditorium.

The CCHS dance team will perform their first annual recital in Rockne Hall 4 p.m. May 18. Also, auditions for next year's team will be held in Masson Auditorium 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. May 20-24.
