The Children's Dyslexia Center of Allentown is having a book fair 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 20, at Barnes and Noble at The Promenade Shops, Center Valley.
Events include book signings by Author Eli Kowalski, appearance by Kushka, the real-life dog from the book "Kushka, the Dog Named Cat," musical performance by Ryan Leaver 1 to 2 p.m.; special story times; crafts; face painting and a store scavenger hunt.
Shop at any Barnes & Noble nationwide between April 20 and 22 and the store will contribute a percentage of every sale made with special book fair voucher number 11024908 to Children's Dyslexia Center of Allentown.
Vouchers are available online at childrensdyslexiacenterallentown.org and in hardcopy at Children's Dyslexia Center, 1544 Hamilton St., Allentown.
Children's Dyslexia Center of Allentown, opened in 1998 with the mission to provide free multisensory reading and written language tutorial services for children with dyslexia; and teacher instruction in the Orton-Gillingham approach.
