Lehigh Valley Christian High School would like to thank our wonderful neighbors for their cooperation in clearing the parking lot when we celebrated our 25th anniversary last month. We are also thankful to Catasauqua Borough, St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and Hartzell's Pharmacy for allowing us additional parking space for that event.
What a pleasure it has been to be located in this wonderful community! And we recently were notified by Mayor Barbara Schlegel that the Shade Tree Commission is planting a tree in the park to honor our school on Saturday, April 27. Thank you so much.

The spring athletic program has gotten off to a good start. Our baseball team began the season with a 6-2 victory over Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School, and our girls soccer club also began with a victory. The track team participated in the Pirate Invitational at Palisades and set school records in the girls and boys 4 x 800 relays.
Freshman Jennifer Wintermute placed eighth in the discus, earning three team points.
We have several home baseball games coming up (April 5, 8, 9, 12, 15 and 23), and our track team will be at a home meet at Catasauqua High School April 23.
