STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Q: What grade are you in?
A: I am in 12th grade at Emmaus High School.
Q: What is your favorite subject? Why?
A: My favorite subject is math. Math has always been my favorite subject because I like the real life applications of what I was learning in school and being able to apply that knowledge in my life. Math has come naturally to me for years which made it fun and easy.
Q: Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A: I have received awards from National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society for my academic efforts.
Q: Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?
A: I have been an active member of Key Club since 10th grade. It is a volunteer club that helps out all over the Lehigh Valley. I played soccer for high school this past season. I plan on playing baseball this spring with friends.
Q: What is your next goal after high school?
A: My next goal after high school is to go to college to get a degree in business. The colleges I am currently looking into have co-op programs that would allow me to intern for businesses. Hopefully the co-op program will go well so I can get a job in business.
Q: What would you say your biggest challenge has been so far?
A: My biggest challenge so far has been managing time for school, sports and friends. School has always been my number one priority, but sports and friends are a huge part of my life and all three take up a lot of time.
Q: What do you want to be remembered for?
A: I want to be remembered for always having a smile on my face and for being a great ping-pong player.
Q: Who is in your family?
A: My parents Dan and Jacqui, older brother Evan and two younger brothers Dylan and Jake.
Q: Do you have someone you look up to?
A: I look up to my older brother Evan. He is very smart and athletic and has taught me more than he knows. I really appreciate all he has done for me.
Q: Do you have any advice for your peers?
A: Work toward your goals, it pays off.
