Whitehall-Coplay School District news
The American Club in Coplay is hosting the Whitehall boys basketball team's third annual "At the Races."
It is set for April 5 with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. Races begin at 7 p.m.
The ticket price includes refreshments.

"Oliver!" This year, the Whitehall High School theatre will be presenting Lionel Bart's masterpiece "Oliver!"
Based off Dickens' famous novel, "Oliver Twist," this show follows the young orphan, Oliver, as he escapes the cruel world of an orphanage and finds a new home in the underworld of Fagin's pickpockets before ending up with a wealthy British family.
Performances are scheduled for April 11-14.
Show times are 7:30 p.m. April 11-13 and 2 p.m. April 14. A dinner theater option is available April 13 with dinner served 6-7 p.m.
Tickets will be available at the door and can be purchased in advance via the school website at www.whitehallcoplay.org.
Flap jack breakfast: The Whitehall Township Public Library will benefit from a flap jack fundraiser 8-10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at the Applebee's, 1510 Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown. The public is invited.
Spring break: Spring break began today, Thursday, March 28, and will last until Monday, April 1.
Classes resume Tuesday, April 2.
Change wars: The Zephyr Elementary Key Club March of Dimes Change Wars event is continuing.
Each homeroom is competing to collect change for the March of Dimes Foundation. Students are asked to donate each week as much as they want to their homeroom bin.
Every Friday money will be counted and homeroom totals will be recorded. Winning homerooms will be rewarded.
School board meeting: The public is invited to the next school board meeting 7 p.m. Monday, April 8, in the administration offices.
Moving: Parents are reminded to keep the school office informed of any changes in address or phone numbers.
If you move within the Whitehall-Coplay School District you must provide a new proof of residence. Call the district office at 610-439-1431 for the required documentation.
