DUI
Andrew Gross, 23, of Slatington, was taken into custody for suspected DUI on Interstate 78 westbound at mile marker 55, Salisbury Township, 10:11 p.m. March 12. Gross was stopped for a traffic violation and allegedly displayed multiple indicators of intoxication from controlled substances and alcohol. Charges are pending the results of a blood test.
Sean Dundin, 20, of Coopersburg, was charged with DUI on Limeport Pike near Steinsburg Road, Lower Milford Township, 3:15 a.m. March 22. Dundin was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol when his vehicle crashed in a ditch.
John Cannavo, 20, of Tannersville, was charged with DUI on Route 309 at Lanark Road, Upper Saucon Township, 1:47 a.m. March 22. Cannavo was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop.
Elizabeth Snyder, 50, of Zionsville, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Limeport Pike at Spinnerstown Road, Lower Milford Township, 2:41 a.m. March 23. Snyder was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol after her vehicle left the road and struck a boulder. The vehicle was flipped on its roof and sustained major damage. Snyder sustained minor lacerations and was transported to Lehigh County Central Booking for further processing. Charges are pending.
Underage drinking
A 17-year-old female was cited with underage drinking at Hess Gas Station, Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, 12:25 p.m. March 16. The accused was contacted as a passenger in a vehicle on a traffic stop and was allegedly found to have consumed alcohol.
Drug possession
Matthew Mondschein, 24, of Macungie, was charged with drug possession in the 5700 block of Fresh Meadow Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 1:36 p.m. March 21. Mondschein was arrested for alleged possession of an illegal substance.
Arson
An unknown actor set fire to a Porta-Potty in Wild Cherry Park, Lower Macungie Township, 2:30 p.m. March 18. Witnesses reported seeing a red four-door sedan of an unknown make and model and a blue minivan in the area of the incident while the Porta-Potty was on fire.
False reports to law enforcement
Clarence Drey Sr., 53, of Emmaus, was charged with false reports to law enforcement on Chestnut Street at Macungie Avenue, Emmaus, 8:07 a.m. Sept. 22, 2012. Drey was stopped for a traffic violation and allegedly presented himself as another individual.
Terroristic threats
Paul Voros, of Macungie, was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment in the 1800 block of Aster Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:13 p.m. March 16. Voros allegedly struck the victim with a cellular phone charger, choked, punched and threatened the victim during an argument.
Harassment
Stephen Palmer, 54, of Macungie, was accused of harassment in the 3000 block of Watermill Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 12:05 a.m. March 22. Palmer allegedly struck the victim several times in the arm during an argument.
Criminal mischief
An unknown actor damaged street signs on Mountain Road at Reservoir Road and Hensingersville Road, Lower Macungie Township, March 5.
Burglary
A 13-year-old male and a 14-year-old male, both of Lower Macungie Township, allegedly stole a pair of headphones from a residence in the 8100 block of Heritage Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 4 and 5 p.m. March 12. The headphones were valued at $300.
Retail theft
Felicia Cespedes, 41, of Allentown, allegedly stole $76.22 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:32 p.m. March 10.
Olga King, 51, of Allentown, allegedly attempted to steal makeup and medicine from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:30 p.m. March 14. The total value of the items was $76.22.
Two unknown actors stole various items from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:40 p.m. March 15. The subjects fled the scene in a red Toyota Corolla rental car.
Heather MacGillivray, 32, and Donald MacGillivray, 29, both of Flemington, N.J., were charged with retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:05 p.m. March 16. The pair allegedly attempted to remove a security device from a computer in the store.
An unknown actor stole 10 laptop computers from the electronics department at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:07 a.m. March 17. The investigation is ongoing.
Theft by deception
An unknown actor tricked an Allentown resident into giving a large amount of money in return for a fake lottery winning between Dec. 26, 2012 and March 18.
Receiving stolen property
Michael Lamb, 31, of New York, N.Y., was charged with receiving stolen property on Interstate 78 westbound at Emmaus Avenue, Salisbury Township, 8:37 p.m. March 15. Lamb was stopped for a traffic violation and was allegedly found to be driving a vehicle stolen from New York City.
Access device fraud
An unknown actor opened two credit cards in a Macungie resident's name and totaled several thousand dollars in fraudulent charges between Feb. 24 and March 22.
An unknown actor attempted to make several purchases with a Macungie resident's credit card between March 4 and 5. The actor also opened a line of credit with Paypal using the victim's personal information.
