Police say driver
had seizure
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Ann P. Gross, 53, of Schnecksville, was driving a 2008 Dodge Avenger north on Route 309, at the intersection of Decatur Street, New Tripoli, 9:06 a.m. March 9 when she failed to negotiate a right curve in the roadway.
Police say the car traveled north, went across the southbound lane of Route 309, over a concrete island, struck a PennDOT traffic sign, across Decatur Street, then across another concrete island.
The car continued north approximately 400 feet across a stone parking lot, where it traveled another 80 feet into the woods and struck a tree head on.
Police say Gross suffered a seizure and was unable to control her vehicle.
Gross, who police say was wearing her seat belt, was transported by Northwestern Ambulance Corps to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
New Tripoli Fire Department assisted at the scene.
Attempted burglary
in Lynn Township
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 26-year-old woman from the 7000 block of Hideway Drive, Lynn Township, reported an attempt was made 12:45 p.m. March 12 to pry open the back door to her home.

Police say driver
clocked 94 mph
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Elias Bonilla, 22, of Allentown, was stopped 4:57 p.m. March 14 on Penn Drive, just east of Route 100, after he allegedly attempted to flee and elude police on I-78, east of the Kecks Road overpass, Weisenberg Township.
According to police, Bonilla was eastbound on I-78 when he allegedly drove by state police radar doing 94 mph.
After a trooper attempted to stop Bonilla, he allegedly drove at a high rate of speed, while making unsafe lane changes, and passing cars eastbound on the shoulder of the roadway.
He then exited I-78 onto Route 100 South in Upper Macungie Township.
Police say harges to be filed against Bonilla include: fleeding and attempting to elude a police officer, speeding (94 in a 55 mph zone), reckless and careless driving and failure to use turn signals.
Mailbox damaged
in Weisenberg Twp.
Thomas McFadden, 3871 Crestview Court, Weisenberg Township, reported to State Police Troop M Fogelsville his mailbox was knocked off its post sometime between 10 p.m. March 6 and 9 a.m. the next day.
The mailbox was damaged and needs to be replaced, police say.
