Whitehall High School student Anne Klepeiss was named the February Girl of the Month by the Woman's Club of Whitehall.

Klepeiss, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William Klepeiss of Whitehall, has made high honor roll all marking periods.

She is a member of the Zephyr Nation (Pep Club), Leo Club and Math League, is a member of the track and field team and captain of the field hockey team. She is also a peer mediator.

Klepeiss is also a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society and is secretary of Mu Alpha Theta. She was a Donley Award recipient and a scholar athlete in field hockey.

Her other activities include participating in her church youth group and the 2012 Lehigh Valley Youth Leadership & Ethics Conference. She serves as a volunteer for Relay for Life, Vacation Bible School, Feline Finish Line and Feline Urban Rescue and Rehabilitation.

Klepeiss plans to attend Penn State main campus and major in biology. She later hopes to attend veterinary or medical school.
