The Military Nursing Corps of Pennsylvania, VFW Post 12099, is welcoming veterans with service in overseas conflicts.
Current members of Post 12099 have proudly served in every conflict from World War II to active status in the global war on terror.
Post 12099, headquartered in the Gen. Charles C. Curtis National Guard Armory, 1501 Allen St., Allentown, and meets 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month.
Veteran's discharge paper (DD214), or if active duty, a letter from their commanding officer, is required to determine eligibility for VFW membership.
Korea duty beginning June 30, 1949, remains open through today for 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days of duty on the Korean Peninsula, its airspace and territorial waters.
