Terroristic threats
The Emmaus Police Department announced March 12 an Emmaus High School ninth grade student has been charged with terroristic threats, a felony of the third degree, for a threat communicated to Emmaus High School Dec. 20, 2012. Charges will be referred to Lehigh County Juvenile Court. EHS received three such threats in the last three months. Police said the investigation is continuing on the other threats.
"This arrest underscores the excellent working relationship and networking we have with the East Penn Schools," Chief of Police David A. Faust, MS, said. "This is another example of school officials and law enforcement working together to keep our schools as safe as we possibly can."
