Student profile: Kirsten Csaszar, Liberty HS
Grade: 12
Family members: I have a mom, Paula, father, Burt, and sister, Ashley
Favorite subject: My favorite subject is definitely math. I love problem solving and finding the solution, having a set plan to follow.
Activities: I am a varsity cheerleading captain, play varsity softball, president of Student Government, a National Honors Society member, and I am also an illustrator for the school newspaper, "Liberty Life."
Next steps: I would like to attend a college and continue my involvement in cheerleading, and hopefully I will be on my way into architecture programs within the college I plan to attend.
Career Goals: As an adult, I plan to be successful in what I plan to do. I am very interested in architecture and interior design, and I hope to carry out those interests and one day have one of those two careers.
Heroes: My hero has to be my sister, Ashley. She attends Syracuse University and is news director of their televised news program. She is on her way to being extremely successful in whatever she does, and that is because of all her hard work and dedication to education and her future goals.
Hobbies: I enjoy cheerleading and softball, and I also enjoy being around people and representing my school in activities that I am involved in.
Current job(s): I am employed at Sunset Tan on Third Street on the south side in Bethlehem.
Volunteer/community work: I do a lot of community work within Student Government, National Honors Society and my two varsity sports.
Likes: I like being around people, helping others, being highly involved within my school and keeping myself busy with work, school and sports.
Dislikes: Some of my dislikes are people who do not put forth any effort and slack on school, not willing to get an education.
Greatest accomplishment (so far): My greatest accomplishment so far is probably my ability to maintain a high GPA along with being involved and representing my high school.
Advice for peers: My advice for my peers would be to try your hardest at whatever you do, whether you are involved in one activity or even as many as five activities. Motivate yourself to do your best, and it will all pay off in the end.
