Vehicle hits

utility pole

Robb K. Tyler, 20, of Slatedale, was driving south in a 2008 Ford Ranger along Old Post Road, north of Church Street, Washington Township during a sudden snowstorm at 1:49 p.m. Feb. 19, when he lost control of the truck on a straight section of road.

The truck spun head-on into a utility pole on the opposite side of the road, State Police Troop M Bethlehem say.

Tyler, who was wearing a seat belt, was uninjured.

The truck was towed from the scene.

Tyler was issued a traffic warning, police say.

Teen charged

with harassment

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 16-year-old Allentown boy pushed a 32-year-old teacher, overturned several desks and kicked several holes in the wall inside a detention room around 10:30 a.m. March 6 at Lehigh Learning Adjustment Center, 2936 Corporate Center, Lowhill Township.

The teen is being charged with institutional vandalism, harassment and disorderly conduct, police say.

Home burglarized

in Lynn Township

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say various items were stolen sometime between Nov. 1, 2012 and March 6 after forcible entry was made to a home, unattached garage and shed along Gun Club Road, Lynn Township.

Anyone with information about this burglary is asked to contact police at 610-395-1438.

Man cited for

public drunkenness

Alfred Norman Zotter, 45, of New Tripoli, was allegedly found 6:23 p.m. Feb. 28 under the influence of an alcoholic beverage, sleeping on the sidewalk in front of the Germansville Post Office, 6066 Memorial Road, Heidelberg Township, State Police Troop M Bethlehem say.

A citation will be filed for public drunkenness with District Judge Rod Beck, Slatington.

Mailbox smashed

in Washington Twp.

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say Rose Mary Frantz, at 6333 Oppossum Lane, Washington Township, reported her mailbox was smashed sometime between 10-11 p.m. March 7.
