DUI

Kevin Beers, 20, of Zionsville, was arrested for DUI and drug possession in the 900 block of Willow Street, Macungie, 1:40 a.m. Feb. 16. Beers was stopped for a traffic violation and was allegedly found to be under the influence of marijuana. He was in possession of approximately one ounce of suspected marijuana. Beers will be sent a summons ordering him to appear for a preliminary hearing before District Judge Donna Butler.

Harassment

James Mosher, 44, of Macungie, was arrested for resisting arrest and harassment at 136 Village Walk Drive, Macungie, 9:20 p.m. March 7. Police arrived at the location for a report of a domestic disturbance and allegedly found Mosher to be uncooperative. Mosher was eventually carried from the home by six police officers from Macungie, Alburtis, Emmaus and State Police. Mosher was initially placed into a police car but was transferred to an ambulance for transport to Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest to receive treatment for alleged excessive alcohol consumption.
