Whitehall-Coplay graduate

marries on Sept. 28, 2012

The marriage of Brandy Barndt and Scott Szever took place Sept. 28, 2012, at Linfield, Limerick Township, Montgomery County.

Father Paul Brandt officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Scott and Colleen Barndt of Honey Brook, Chester County.

She graduated from Twin Valley High School in 1999 and from Bloomsburg University in 2003.

She is employed by The Vanguard, Inc., Valley Forge.

The groom is the son of Bill and Marcia Szever of Whitehall.

He graduated from Whitehall-Coplay High School in 1993 and from York College in 1998.

He also is employed by The Vanguard, Inc.

Matrons of honor were Mandy Fuhrman and Kristin Lents.

Bridesmaids were Katrina Scavone, Kelly Bollenbach, Naomi Witz, Ashley Abraham and Ashleigh Steffy.

Serving as best men were Jeff Sodl and Keith Genicola.

Groomsmen were Mike Sipos; Mike Charles; James Hand; Steve Szever, brother of the groom; and Scott Barndt, brother of the bride.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

The reception was held at Brookside Country Club, Pottstown.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in Pottstown.
