Exchange students of month honored
Four Northampton Area High School seniors were recognized as Students of the Month.
Christine Zopf, Cody Kramer, Kimberly Babicz and Evan Notaro each received a framed certificate and Lamp of Knowledge plaque for their selection as Students of the Month by the Northampton Exchange Club.
Program Chairman Dr. Rodger Berg told the students they have taken four important steps needed to succeed by demonstrating conviction, confidence, enthusiasm and perseverance.
"They have already achieved much in life," Berg said.
He said more than talent is needed to achieve success. Other factors required include confidence in what you are doing, a conviction that this is the right path to take and applying knowledge to every day life.
The honorees possess those attributes and they have developed a purpose and display enthusiasm.
