DUI
Joshua Walton, 25, of Zionsville, was charged with DUI, drug possession and numerous traffic offenses on Ruppsville Road at Schantz Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:01 p.m. Feb. 2. Walton was observed stopped in the lane of travel and was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol and in possession of marijuana and a glass smoking pipe.
James Martin Jr., 25, was arrested for DUI on State Route 100 northbound at Schoeneck Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:59 a.m. Feb. 16. Martin was stopped for operating his vehicle without taillights and was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges will be filed pending results of a blood test.
Theft
An unknown actor stole wood from the front of a residence in the 7100 block of Carls Hill Road, Upper Milford Township, between 10 a.m. Feb. 11 and 2 p.m. Feb. 13.
Hit and run
An unknown actor caused a multi-vehicle accident on Lower Macungie Road at Millrace Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:50 p.m. Feb. 15. The actor was described as a middle-aged male driving a black 1997 Dodge Dakota with heavy front end damage. He allegedly fled the scene after striking the rear of a 2010 Toyota Corolla, causing the vehicle to hit a 1999 Subaru Impreza which then slid into a 2005 Ford Escape. The Corolla and the Impreza needed to be towed from the scene and the Escape suffered functional rear end damage. No injuries were sustained as a result of the crash.
Terroristic threats
Kimberly Decker, 47, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., allegedly threatened a Macungie resident during a phone conversation 5 p.m. Feb. 14.
Harassment
A man and a woman were cited for an argument which allegedly escalated into a physical altercation in the 3400 block of Butler Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 10:30 p.m. Feb. 14.
Disorderly conduct
Karen Holloway, of Macungie, was cited Feb. 2 for allegedly allowing more than three false alarms in a consecutive 12-month period.
Criminal mischief
An unknown actor threw eggs at a residence in the 2700 block of Springhaven Place, Lower Macungie Township, 2:30 p.m. Feb. 16.
Attempted burglary
An unknown actor attempted to enter a residence in the 4300 block of South 5th Street, Upper Milford Township, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Feb. 13.
Retail theft
An unknown actor stole two thermometers from the Zionsville Antique Mall, 7567 Chestnut St., Upper Milford Township, 3 p.m. Feb. 9.
Diane Kressley, of New Tripoli, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:45 p.m. Feb. 12. Kressley allegedly attempted to steal $180.92 worth of merchandise.
Adam Kooker, 21, of Breinigsville, was charged with retail theft at Kohls. 6900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 4:20 p.m. Feb. 17. Kooker allegedly attempted to steal multiple items by concealing them on his person.
A 17-year-old male, of Macungie, and a 16-year-old male, of Macungie, were charged for retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:37 p.m. Feb. 17. The pair allegedly attempted to steal a pair of jeans, an iPod case and 50 feet of coaxial cable.
Theft from a motor vehicle
An unknown actor stole a truck bed cover from a vehicle parked at Texas Road House, 6288 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, between 5:30 and 6:40 p.m. Feb. 13.
Access device fraud
An unknown actor used a Macungie resident's credit card to open five cell phone accounts and attempt to purchase a Walmart gift card Feb. 15.
An unknown actor used an Emmaus resident's credit card to make 47 fraudulent charges between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Feb. 19. The charges were all made out of Tokyo, Japan, and totaled $593.08.
