Ambassador Girl Scouts from Troop 6294 are working on a service project, "Operation: Cookies from Home." They are shipping all cookies collected to the United Service Organizations Inc. who will get the cookies to soldiers. The Scouts have set a goal of 1,000 boxes.

An auction has been set for 2 to 5 p.m. March 2 at Wescosville Recreation Center, 5047 Hamilton Blvd., Wescosville. Admission is the price of a box of cookies. A silent auction will be held and all proceeds from the day will go to this cause.
