STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Q: What grade are you in?

A: I am a senior at Emmaus High School.

Q: What is your favorite subject? Why?

A: My favorite subject is anatomy. I find the body and mind fascinating.

Q: Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A: I have made honor roll throughout all of my years in high school. I am also a member of both National Honor Society and Spanish Honors Society. For the swim team, I was voted Player's Player and received MVP. For my club team I was the recipient of the leadership award. I was also chosen to be one of four Emmaus student athletes to represent our school in the LVIAC Student Athlete Character Council.

Q: Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?

A: I am a member of the Emmaus High School swim team.

Q: What is your next goal after high school?

A: After high school I will be attending George Mason University where I will study pre-med and will be swimming for them.

Q: What would you say your biggest challenge has been so far?

A: For my biggest challenge, I don't really have one. I tend to look at challenges as opportunities.

Q: What do you want to be remembered for?

A: I want people to remember me for being able to find the perfect balance between dedication, hard work and being a goofball.

Q: Who is in your family?

A: My parents Dave and Kim Iobst, my younger sister Brookie and my younger brother David.

Q: Do you have someone you look up to?

A: I can't say that I look up to one sole person. I admire different qualities of many different people and I aspire to acquire those qualities myself.

Q: Do you have any advice for your peers?

A: Be yourself and stand up for what you believe in. People might not always hear what you have to say but they will notice what you do and how you present yourself.
