Local couple to wed

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Berger of Bath announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah, to Eric Coughlin, son of Kathleen Harley of Northampton and Robert Coughlin of Northampton.

Both are graduates of Northampton Area High School.

The bride-elect received a Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences from Lebanon Valley College in 2011.

She is attending Lebanon Valley College where she expects to receive a Doctorate in physical therapy in May.

The groom received a Bachelor of Science degree in astrophysics from Lehigh University in 2011.

He is attending the University of Colorado, pursuing a Ph.D. in astrophysics.

A December 2013 wedding is planned.
