Miles will advance to the preliminary written exam scheduled for Feb. 21 at Northampton Community College. The top ranking spellers from this exam will move on to the 27th Annual Express-Times Regional Spelling Bee at NCC March 23. The champion of that spelling bee will go on to Washington, D.C, to compete in the 2013 Scripps National Spelling Bee.
