More often than not, a company is put into the public eye not for the positive they do, but rather for all the negative actions pointed out by the media during a crisis situation.
I want to be the first customer in Coplay to publicly thank the UGI gas company for the outstanding service their representatives provided during the recent crisis in the Coplay and Whitehall area.
From the moment I called the customer service hot line at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday until the last service technician left my property at 11:30 p.m. that same evening, I experienced nothing but sincere professionalism and deep concern from all of the staff.
This time without a doubt, UGI gas company went above and beyond the call of duty to make the residents of Coplay completely safe and informed despite the coldest temperatures of the year and many residents with no heat.
If you happened to be one of those affected by this gas outage in the Coplay area, take the time to thank those public servants (UGI workers, police, fire) that may have guided you safely through this crisis.
