The first Lehigh Valley Beer Week, featuring craft beer-related events, is Feb. 11 - 17.

Jesse Albertson, Fegley's Brew Works general manager, who proposed the idea, said, "I saw the success and community of Philly Beer Week and thought, 'Why can't we do this in the Lehigh Valley?'"

The list of participating breweries, pubs and restaurants is more than 20.

There will be pub takeovers, brew tours, beer tastings, beer dinners, rare beer releases and other events.
