EMMAUS POLICE
DUI
Terrence Smith, 35, of Emmaus, was arrested for DUI on E. Main and Dalton streets, Emmaus, 1:55 a.m. Jan. 13. Smith was allegedly under the influence of alcohol when his vehicle struck a curb and several mailboxes in the area.
Disorderly conduct
Zachery Muth, 22, was arrested for public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest outside of King Coffee, 506 Chestnut Street, Emmaus, Jan. 17. Police said Muth was uncooperative and allegedly spit in an officer's face when he was confronted about lying on the sidewalk outside the business.
Emily Egersdorf, 22, of Rochester, Maine, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after allegedly interfering in the arrest of Muth and causing a disturbance.
Harassment
Dustin Morrow, 21, of Emmaus, was cited for harassment following a domestic disturbance at his residence Jan. 19.
Criminal mischief
An unknown actor bent six car antennas on N. 5th Street overnight Jan. 14.
Burglary
An unknown actor burglarized a residence in the 100 block of E. Berger Street, Emmaus, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Jan. 6. An unspecified amount of jewelry was stolen.
Theft from a motor vehicle
An unknown actor entered three vehicles in the area of S. 12th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, Emmaus, Jan. 3. The actor stole a GPS unit, two iPods, a watch and a handicap placard.
An unknown actor entered a vehicle in the 00 block of N. Cherry Street, Emmaus, Jan. 15. The actor stole approximately 20 CDs and a pair of Fossil sunglasses.
An unknown actor entered two vehicles on Evergreen Street, Emmaus, Jan. 19. The actor entered an unlocked garage and stole $35 in coins, multiple cell phone chargers and a baseball hat from the vehicles parked inside.
Theft
An unknown actor stole two metal tire racks and six used tires from Iobst Sunoco, 464 State Ave., Emmaus, between Jan. 12 and 14. The racks are valued at $100 each.
