School Counselor Appreciation Day and School Dental Hygienist Appreciation Day will be observed on Feb. 6.

Please be sure to show your appreciation for the dedication and care your school counselors and dental hygienists show students and staff.

Lehigh Market Day pickup: Mark your calendars and don't forget to pick up your Market Day items Feb. 6 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Lehigh Elementary.

Report cards: Elementary students will receive their report cards for the second marking period Feb. 7.

Parents are asked to spend time with their children discussing report cards. Students need parental support as well as teacher support.

Parents who have any questions or concerns should contact their child's teacher.

School board meeting: The next Northampton Area School Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 28, at the district offices on Laubach Avenue. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.

PTAs to meet: The Lehigh Elementary PTA will meet Feb. 4 at 6:30 p.m.

The Moore Elementary PTA meets on the same date at 9 a.m.

George Wolf Elementary PTA will meet Feb. 5 at 7 p.m.

The Borough Elementary PTA has scheduled its next meeting for Feb. 12 at 7 p.m.

The middle school PTA meets Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. and the PTA council meeting is set for Feb. 7 at 7 p.m.

Kindergarten registration is scheduled for Feb. 12 from 1:45 to 6 p.m. for those who will attend George Wolf, Lehigh and Moore.

On the same date, the Borough Elementary School will hold registration for those with last names beginning with A-L. For those whose last names beginning with M-Z, registration will take place 2-6 p.m. Feb. 13.
