Furnishing alcohol to minors
Alexzanrea Gerhart, 21, of Macungie, was charged with providing alcohol to minors during a traffic stop on West Main Street, Macungie, 1:30 a.m. Jan. 5. A 17-year-old female was stopped for nearly striking a Macungie Police car while allegedly driving without headlights and distracted. Logan Gerhart, 18, and Corynn Murphy, 20, were allegedly found to be under the influence as passengers in the vehicle. Alexzanrea Gerhart allegedly provided Murphy and Logan Gerhart with alcohol before the incident. The driver was issued multiple traffic violations.
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Shawn Reppert, 25, of Lititz, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at the intersection of Chestnut and Race streets, Macungie, 1 a.m. Jan. 18. Reppert was stopped for a traffic violation and was allegedly in possession of drug paraphernalia containing methamphetamine residue. Reppert was driving with a suspended license. Blood was drawn and additional charges may be filed following the completion of toxicology testing.
Harassment
Joshua Kish, 37, of Macungie, was charged with intimidation of a witness or victim, resisting arrest or other law enforcement, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and harassment at 55 Lehigh Street, Apartment 2, Macungie, 9:22 p.m. Jan. 11. Police responded to a complaint of excessive noise at the residence and left after issuing a warning. Kish then allegedly began to stomp on the floor and bang on the exterior door, denting it, in an attempt to harass whoever made the previous complaint, leading to police being called back to the apartment. Upon their arrival they could see Kish in the apartment with a female and two small children but both Kish and the female refused to open the door. When police gained entry to the residence, Kish allegedly attempted to resist arrest and struggled with the officers before finally being taken into custody.
