Northampton Area School District is pleased to announce the revival of its Adult Community Education Classes.
A survey on the NASD website (www.nasdschools.org) under the Community Education Tab asks adults in the district what types of classes they would like or have enjoyed in the past and asks about classes they would like to see in the spring roster. Some potential topics include digital photography, smart phone basics, computer classes (iPad/Apple or Microsoft), extreme couponing, cooking, water aerobics, yoga, fitness (spinning and floor work), art, Spanish, quilting and jewelry making.
It is the goal of the NASD Community Education Program to offer the opportunity to participate in courses that range from general education, fitness and leisure to personal interests and arts and crafts.
These courses are offered on a pay-as-you-go basis with an emphasis on quality instruction at affordable rates.
For more information, email program coordinator Meg Shell schellm@nasdschools.org or call 610-262-9369. Results of the feedback survey will be published.
