A: Grade 12.
Q: What is your favorite subject? Why?
A: Math; I find it fascinating how math can be applied to model different phenomenon and used to solve real world problems.
Q: Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A: I am a national merit semifinalist.
Q: Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?
A: I am on the high school swim team and I also enjoy playing chess.
Q: What is your next goal after high school?
A: After high school I want to continue my education in college.
Q: What would you say your biggest challenge has been so far?
A: My biggest challenge has been effectively managing my time between swimming, school and my other activities.
Q: What do you want to be remembered for?
A: I want to be remembered for my hard work, or if I am lucky, I will come up with a new idea that contributes to our society.
Q: Who is in your family?
A: My dad, Xiao-Ming Fang, my mom, Hai-Yan Gao and my brother, Luyao Fang.
Q: Do you have someone you look up to?
A: I look up to Bruce Lee; he is an amazing individual.
Q: Do you have any advice for your peers?
A: Pursue your interests and work hard in all your enterprises.
