Caroline A. Hammer, 82, formerly of Cementon, died Dec. 25, 2012, in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township.

Born in Cementon, she was the daughter of the late Edward Sr. and Emma (Muick) Hammer.

She was a sewing machine operator for the former D&D Shirt Company, Northampton, and Cross Country Clothes, Egypt and Northampton.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

She is survived by a sister, Theresa Brown of Whitehall; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by six brothers, her twin Carl, August, Edward Jr., Bernard, Joseph and John; and four sisters, Rose, Marie, Cecilia, and Emma.
