Bicycle found
in Washington Twp.
State Police Troop M Bethlehem say a men's mountain bike was found between Nov. 22-29 in the 5900 block of Glencrest Road, Washington Township.
The bicycle has been entered into the state police evidence room until the owner claims the bicycle.
Anyone with information about this bike is asked to call Trooper Traino at 610-861-2026.
Man charged
with simple assault
Mark Edward Boyko, Jr., 37, of Germansville, allegedly engaged in a verbal argument at 10:23 p.m. Dec. 9 with a woman, also from Germansville, at a home at 6425 Memorial Road, Heidelberg Township, State Police Troop M Bethlehem say.
Police allege the argument turned physical and the woman was struck by Boyko causing physical injury.
Boyko was taken into custody on charges of simple assault and harassment, police say.
Police prevent
suicide attempt
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 31-year-old New Tripoli man attempted to jump off a bridge at 3:06 p.m. Nov. 18 in Lower Milford Township.
Police say the man accessed I-78 on foot via Route 309 South.
The man scaled the northern concrete barrier on I-78 westbound and remained atop the concrete bridge side, contemplating jumping onto Route 309 South.
He was talked down and transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, for a mental health evaluation, police say.
Garage entered
in Weisenberg Twp.
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Joel Brian Schmoyer, 9764 Stagecoach Road, Weisenberg Township, reported that Brandon Lee Walbert of Kutztown allegedly went into his vehicle around 4 a.m. Dec. 23 and then used the garage door opener to enter his home.
According to police, the sound woke up Schmoyer, who confronted Walbert.
Schmoyer told police he conversed with Walbert awaiting their arrival. Walbert, however, fled on foot.
He was apprehended in a field adjacent to Schmoyer's home, police say.
Sword, gas can,
money stolen
Otto Karl Schick, 3531 Scherer Road, Weisenberg Township, reported to police a wooden samurai sword and a 5-gallon gas can were stolen from outside his home between midnight and 7 a.m. on Dec. 23, State Police Troop M Fogelsville say.
In addition, $40 was taken from inside a vehicle parked at his home.

2-vehicle crash
in Lowhill Township
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say in a report received Dec. 25 that Brett A. Hunsicker, 18, of Orefield, was driving a 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier northbound on Route 100, Lowhill Township, just after 7:30 a.m. Nov. 27, when his car struck the rear of a 2012 Ford F150 pick-up truck driven by Michael J. Wetzel, 49, of Lansford.
Police say when Wetzel stopped for vehicles turning left onto Lyon Valley Road, Hunsicker failed to stop or avoid the stopped truck.
The vehicles were moved from the lane of travel, police say.
Both drivers, who police say were wearing seat belts, were uninjured.
Hunsicker was charged with driving at an unsafe speed, police say.
