This past week Lehigh Valley Christian High School had its annual Spirit Week. It was very fun and full of spirit!
On Monday everyone dressed in pajamas and on Tuesday the students showed their love for their favorite sports team, whether they liked being a Cougar or a Flyers fan.
Wednesday was superhero or villain day and everyone was very creative. Thursday was nerd day and proved to be another fantastic day full of students having fun.
On Friday, the last day of the week, it was spirit day and everyone showed their school spirit by wearing red shirts.

Friday was also our alumni homecoming basketball game against our cross-town conference rivals Salem Christian.
Our boys basketball team is currently 2-3 (1-2) and in fourth place of the north division of the Atlantic Coast Christian Athletic Conference.
Our girls are 4-1 (3-0) and in first place in the ACCAC north division, and the defending champions. Their championship banner was unveiled at the homecoming game last Friday.

Last week was a very active week in our school and it also was the last week before Christmas. Though sometimes we get caught up in the hustle and bustle of shopping and having fun, we should really thank Jesus and remember that we are also celebrating His very special birthday.
LVCHS students return to classes Wednesday, Jan. 2.
PRESS PHOTOS BY LINDA ROTHROCK After an opening prayer and remarks by Robert Brennan, head of Lehigh Valley Christian High School, the choir performs a selection of Christmas songs under the direction of Sharon Herbert. Songs included 'The Birthday of a King,' 'The Rose of Bethlehem,' 'O Holy Night' and 'Sleigh Ride.' Throughout the concert, members of the choir also showcased their talents by singing duets and performing guitar and flute solos. Refreshments were served after the concert.
