May 2014 nuptials

Mr. and Mrs. Jay Sommer of Schnecksville announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily C., to Paul D. Zellers, the son of the late Kimberly Reis and the grandson of Jackie Reis of Allentown.

Paul surprised everyone by asking for Emily's hand in marriage during Thanksgiving dinner in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The couple met while attending Northwestern Lehigh Middle School, New Tripoli.

The bride-elect works at Sacred Heart Senior Living by the creek, Northampton.

The groom-to-be works for J's Service, Allentown.

The couple is planning a May 2014 wedding.
