Central Catholic column
The Central Catholic Viking wrestling team began its 2012-13 season with a strong showing at the 2012 Catasauqua Dual Tournament Dec. 8.
Led by seniors Alex Laudadio, James Raduj, Connor Brosious, Nick Heberling and Mike Rodgers, and coached by Dave Snyder, the team looks to continue its early success in upcoming matches against Southern Lehigh and Bethlehem Catholic.
The team also has also seen strong leadership from juniors Ryan Carty and Daniel D'Agostini, as well as sophomore Jason Torok, who all have high goals for this year's post-season.

Principal Dennis Nemes has created a new Board of General Governance at Central Catholic.
Comprised of CCHS faculty and administration, this board will serve to better the Central Catholic community in the fields of spirituality, academics and extracurricular activities.
The board participated in a workshop Dec. 1 to discuss bylaws and development of goals for future improvement.
The board is focused on the students of Central Catholic and hopes to continue building a stronger foundation for a successful future.
Mr. Nemes has also instated a second board in order to review school policies and procedures. This board is comprised of parent volunteers, CCHS faculty and members of the CCHS Student Council.
One of the major policies to be discussed will be the dress code, which received a great amount of attention and focus throughout the 2011-12 school year.
For more information regarding either of these new committees, contact Mr. Nemes at dnemes@acchs.info.
