Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem, the holiday festival celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, welcomed its one-millionth visitor, Autumn Gilbert, a resident of Weatherly, Carbon County, who was attending for the first time.

Gilbert will receive four Christkindlmarkt season passes for life. Officials for ArtsQuest, the nonprofit that presents Christkindlmarkt, also presented her with a $100 ArtsQuest Gift Card, four passes to see the "Bethlehem: The Christmas City" film at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, plus additional holiday and Christkidlmarkt gifts, including a handcrafted, hand-painted snowman figurine from Rich Connolly of Rich Connolly Folk Art and a jewelry gift basket including earrings by Michelle Andrychuk, owner of the local Fifth Avenue Collection franchise, two vendors at the event.

Christkindlmarkt, opened Nov. 15 and continues through Dec. 23. Hours are 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Thursday, 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday.
