George and Joanne Geissler of Orefield happily announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen, to Francis Mario D'Amico Jr., son of Dr. Francis Mario D'Amico of Philadelphia and his late wife, Patricia Strain D'Amico.

Kristen is a 1989 graduate of Parkland High School. She received a Master of Science degree in physical therapy from Ithaca College and a Master's degree in business administration from Loyola College, Baltimore, Md.

She is a director with Berkeley Research Group.

Fran received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University and a Master of Science degree in computer science from Loyola College.

He is employed by the Department of Defense.

They reside in Baltimore.

A spring wedding is planned.
