Northampton grad to wed

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Speshok of Northampton announce the engagement of their daughter, Nikole, to Mark McConnell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale McConnell of Blairsville, Indiana County.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Northampton Area High School and the University of Pittsburgh.

She works at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Her fiance, a graduate of Blairsville-Saltsburg Area High School, attended Westmoreland County Community College.

He works at TranEdge Truck Center, Pittsburgh.

The couple is planning an Aug. 31, 2013, wedding.

They plan to reside in Plum, Allegheny County.
