Northamptom Area High School DECA will host an indoor carnival 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the American Club in Coplay.

The carnival raises money for the family of 2012 Northampton Area High School graduate Alec Ferullo, who died Oct. 8 of brain cancer.

During his illness, his father had to take an unpaid leave in order to care for him.

The event will include games for all ages and refreshments.

Picture retakes: Smile! Lehigh Elementary's picture retake day is Friday, Nov. 30.

Holiday program: The middle school and high school orchestra will be performing their holiday program Friday, Nov. 30. The concert will be held in the high school auditorium and begins at 7 p.m.

School board meeting: The school board's annual reorganization meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, in the district offices at 2014 Laubach Ave.

The public is invited.

PTA meeting: The Lehigh Elementary PTA will meet 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3.

Just in time for the holidays: Mark your calendars for the upcoming George Wolf PTA book fair Dec. 4-7.

Lehigh Market Day pickup will be 3:30-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6.

Adolescent Depression Awareness Parent Night is rescheduled for Dec. 5. A presentation will be given by the Weller Center & Dr. Steven P. Kachmar, psychologist, 6-7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

Bus trip: Northampton PAGE (Pennsylvania Association for Gifted Education) is sponsoring a bus trip Saturday, May 11, 2013.

Participants will visit the Tenement Museum and the 911 Memorial in New York City.

The bus departs at 7 a.m. from the high school and returns at 7 p.m.
