Steckel Elementary School second- and third-grade students participated in the election process Tuesday, Nov. 6. With the assistance of Charlie Gerancher and Nicole Demjan, students were able to vote electronically via laptop computers placed inside one of six patriotically colored cardboard voting booths. In addition to casting their votes for the president of the United States, they selected which third-grade student created a yearbook cover they preferred. The cover receiving the most votes will be used by Christmas City as the school's yearbook cover.
