The Whitehall-Coplay School District will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday from Nov. 22-26.

Have a safe and happy holiday with family and friends.

Early dismissals: Students in elementary and middle grades will have early dismissal Monday, Nov. 19-21 for parent-teacher conferences.

Be sure to attend your child's scheduled conference.

Zephyr yearbook orders: Visit the district website at www.whitehallcoplay.org/districtsite/index.html and follow links to the Zephyr Elementary School to order a 2012-13 yearbook.

The deadline for orders is Dec. 21.

PTO meeting: The next PTO meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20 at the middle school.

Hope chests: Each year, caring people in the Lehigh Valley create magical holiday memories for local children by taking part in Holiday Hope Chests.

This simple, easy project requires only a shoe box, your imagination and a generous spirit.

The middle school will be accepting holiday hope chests from Monday, Nov. 12, through Wednesday, Nov. 21.

Visit the district website and follow links to the middle school to find suggestions for items to place in the chests.

Market Day pick-up will be 4:30-5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19 at the middle school.
