Turning Point of Lehigh Valley received a $20,000 grant from The Mary Kay Foundation SM in observation of October's Domestic Violence Awareness month.

The Lehigh and Northampton counties program will use the grant to provide critical support for its operational costs at Turning Point's emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children.

The agency provides free and confidential prevention programs, legal advocacy, case management, community education and counseling.
