Emmaus couple celebrates 65th wedding anniversary

Marvin and Blanche (Arndt) Schantz of Emmaus celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Oct. 25. They were married by The Rev. David Kauffman at Zions Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville, where they are still members.

They are parents of four children: Glenn, and his wife, Nora, of Macungie; Marilyn, and her husband, Dale Fenstermaker, of Emmaus; Barbara, and her husband, Bob McDonald, of Schnecksville; and Terry, and his wife, Tammy, of Allentown.

They have seven grandchildren: Robert, Eric, Mark, Hope, Ann, Abigail and Andrew, and six great-grandchildren: Bridgette, Harley, Angela, Rebecca, Addison and Holly.

After retirement, they enjoyed their life with family and friends.

They were honored with a family celebration at the Superior Restaurant, Emmaus.
